Buzzed, by simply Cynthia Kuhn, has a simple yet enormously broad matter. To give unquestionable facts about the most used and abused drugs for the reader. The author tried to do this in a way that was very understandable to any suitable reader that picked up the book. In the end Buzzed was made to give people the ability to make informed decisions about drug employ.

Each individual medication or category of drugs described in the book included common main points. First a history of medicine back to its earliest noted use can be given to the reader. Then, Kuhn would talk about how the drug or prescription drugs move through the body. Consecutively, the reader would understand how the drug(s) moves through the body and/or brain. Last but not least, the author gives lists of medication that in the event that taken intoxicated by the previously discussed medicine, could cause key injury or even death.

Cynthia Kuhn's book is incredibly unique in the argument – there isn't one particular. Buzzed is incredibly neutral and strictly truth based. The book virtually contains purely facts, and possible findings from new studies with science's most recent technologies. The book's objective is evident, not to persuade, only to advise.

With this foundation a book, there is absolutely no thesis or correct conclusion for someone. What the audience concludes can be purely about their own opinions and thoughts. It is up to him or her to decide if they would take a certain drug, whether it should be legal, and even what should be thought of it. What Buzzed offers to the visitor, and what they decide to carry out with it is different for every person.

I think, Cynthia Kuhn achieved her purpose. The girl provided an " encyclopedia” on the many used and abused medications in world today. It is formatted to ensure that even a teen could be familiar with content. Likewise, the book stayed entirely neutral and factual for the reader, and focused on the goal to educate, not persuade.
